Parker joins Carlisle

Carlisle have completed the signing of Ben Parker from Leeds.

The defender, as our friends at Vital Leeds tell us, has joined for an initial one-month spell, as Dazza71 writes:

Leeds United defender Ben Parker has completed his loan move to Carlisle United.

Parker joins the League One side until February 25th as he looks for some much needed match practice having spent much of the last two and a half seasons on the treatment table.

The 24 year old has made just nine appearances since the start of the 2009/10 season, including just one this season.

Carlisle are currently pushing for promotion and are in seventh place in the League One table.
