Result - Hartlepool 4-0 Carlisle

Carlisle slipped to a heavy defeat at Hartlepool on Saturday to see their play-off hopes take a hit.

James (6) got Hartlepool off to a fine start with an early goal, with the second from Sweeney (17) not far behind! Carlisle's hope of a recovery were dealt a crushing blow when Miller (27) was sent off before the half hour mark.

A second from James (67) midway through the second half killed the game off with Nish (81) wrapping up a 4-0 win late on.
