'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sometimes dreams do come true

Paddy Madden saw his 'dream come true' when he scored his first goal for Carlisle in the weekend win over Yeovil.

Having signed in January 2011 his first goal has been a long time coming but a dream, as he told the official website, that he had foresaw this coming: 'when it hit the back of the net I thought I was dreaming.

'It's going to sound silly, but I have actually had a dream about getting a goal in front of the Warwick, so maybe sometimes dreams do come true.'

The win saw Carlisle move back into the play-off positions with the Irishman now wanting the club to stay there: 'we're in the top six now and that's brilliant for everybody.

'We now want to get ourselves back on a good run and keep the pressure on the other clubs who are around us. Being where we are now is what we've been fighting for. Hopefully we can stay there.'
