A must win for Carlisle
Carlisle take on promotion chasing Sheffield Wednesday this weekend knowing, realistically, that they have to come away from Hillsborough with something.
Defeat in midweek against Stevenage, in their game in hand, meant that Carlisle remained just behind Notts County but outside the playoff spots and that was far from ideal with this game against The Owls coming up, who still harbour ambitions of automatic promotion!
A point would not be bad but a win would be wonderful and could potentially see Carlisle end the weekend back in a play-off spot with their fate back in their own hands.
This game could also, potentially, be a dress rehearsal for the two-legged semi final play-off?
