Result - Carlisle 4-1 Exeter

Carlisle remain in the hunt for a play-off spot but inflicted misery on Exeter with a win at Brunton Park on Saturday afternoon.

Francois Zoko (34) struck just after the half hour mark to give Carlisle the lead but Liam Sercombe (35) scored instantly for Exeter to level things up. A Jordan Cook (42) goal saw Carlisle retake the lead just before the break.

Shortly after the break Liam Noble (51) extended the home teams advantage with another from Zoko (77) confirming a 4-1 win.

Exeter had missed a penalty, how much difference that would have made on the final outcome is debatable, what is not is the fact that Exeter have now been relegated following this defeat whereas Carlisle are still pushing for that final play-off spot.
