Carlisle will need some luck!
If Carlisle are going to make it into the league one play-offs they are most certainly going to need a slice of luck, as they are relying on other results as it stands.
Put quite simply Carlisle MUST win at Oldham who, in 18th, have little to play for...
A Carlisle win and that would be enough if both Stevenage (who travel to midtable Bury) and Notts County (who entertain 10th placed Colchester) fail to win.
Stevenage's superior goal difference means that even if they lose Carlisle must win to overtake them, and even then a Notts County win would make that scenario irrelevant.
Carlisle can only hold up their end of the bargain, go to Oldham and win and hope that Bury and Colchester do them a favour against Stevenage and Notts County respectively!
