Miller has been missed

Lee Miller, who saw his injury ended early by injury (and more recently tragically lost his wife), has been missed by Carlisle in the closing weeks of the season.

Jon-Paul McGovern, as he told the official website, knows that his quality has been missed and it has been hard to replace him but Carlisle started to show (in the 4-1 win over Exeter) that they are: 'it's not really been a secret that we've struggled a bit since Lee's injury

'Any team would find it hard to replace a player of his quality in their side.

'He's a focal point and his hold-up play brings others into play so we've changed things around a bit by looking to get it out wide and put more crosses into the box, which as the scoreline shows, paid off.'
