Carlisle beaten by Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough's Championship quality proved just too much for Carlisle on Friday night.
Boro went into the break one-nil up having taken the lead on the half hour mark, but Miller headed home early in the second to equalise for Carlisle. Boro had the last laugh though with the winner coming 25-minutes from time to give them a 2-1 win.

Defeat isn't overly important, the performance is and as long as Greg Abbott was happy with what he saw that's the main thing as well as further increased fitness of course.
