Abbott - We probably deserved to come out winners
For the "guts and determination" shown by Carlisle against Ipswich in the Capital One Cup tie on Tuesday Greg Abbott believes his sides were worthy winners.
There are many youngsters in the Carlisle ranks at the moment and he knows patience is needed with them but they deserved the comeback 2-1 win.
The Carlisle boss is looking for more consistency though, but knows this will come with age: 'With our guts and determination we probably deserved to come out winners.
'Sometimes the fans have got to be a bit patient. As these youngsters get older they will get more consistency.'
Carlisle will be hoping for a money spinning tie at Brunton Park in round three, and they'll know if this will be the case tonight when the draw is made.
