Carlisle v Preston

JPT (Northern) 1st Round
4th Sept 2012
19:45
Brunton Park

Carlisle are enjoying a good run in the Capital One Cup and have a chance of another one with them entertaining Preston on Tuesday night as the Johnstone's Paint Trophy kicks-off.

James Berrett (head) is expected to be fit for Carlisle, although should injury rule him out Paul Thirlwell could step in. Michael O'Halloran is set for his full debut and fellow loan signing Jake Jervis can feature, which he couldn't in the league cup.

Danny Livesey (hamstring), Lee Miller (ankle) and Rory Loy (broken leg) all miss out.

Preston are in good form having won 4-1 in their last two games so changes wouldn't be deemed necessary but they could be made anyway?

David Amoo, Andy Procter and Chris Beardsley could come in but John Mousinho (thigh) is doubtful. Joel Byrom (thigh), Lee Holmes (leg) and Lee Trundle (knee) are injury absentees though.
