Carlisle came from behind to secure a late win at Hartlepool on Saturday afternoon.
With the half time break approaching, and a goalless half looking on, James Poole (40) struck to send Hartlepool in one-nil up.
Jake Jervis inexplicably missed a glorious chance to draw Carlisle level when he put the ball into the crowd when faced with an open net having rounded the keeper before Hartlepool were denied a second by the bar.
Carlisle drew level with time running out when Danny Cadamarteri (76) scored with the hosts then reduced to 10-men when Neil Austin (77) was sent off for a second bookable offence. Matty Robson (85) made them pay for this when the former 'Pool man struck late on to give the visitors a 2-1 win.
