Carlisle gatecrash the party!

Coventry 1-2 Carlisle
22nd Sept 2012
15:00
Ricoh Arena

Carlisle gatecrashed Mark Robins' first game as Coventry manager by coming away from The Ricoh Arena with all three points.

A penalty was awarded for Carlisle just past the midway point, for what wasn't sure, of the first half but Danny Cadamarteri (25) didn't care, he stepped up and converted from the spot to put the visitors ahead.

As half time approached Coventry's on loan David McGoldrick (38) equalised to send the sides in level at the break.

Just before the hour Carlisle were ahead again when Danny Livesey (57) restored the lead.

Coventry will fill hard done by as they were twice denied by the post as they hunted an equaliser but couldn't manage this as they slumped to a fifth successive defeat with Carlisle getting back to winning ways with the 2-1 win.
