Cherries not picked

Carlisle 2-4 Bournemouth
27th October 2012
15:00
Brunton Park

Carlisle found a resurgent Bournemouth side too much to handle on Saturday afternoon with the visitors going away with the points.

Marc Pugh (8) gave Bournemouth an early lead but it wasn't long until Liam Noble (18) brought Carlisle level. A second from Pugh (31) restored the visitors lead, with this two-one lead taken into the interval.

Two early goals in the second half from Lewis Grabban (51) and Lee Barnard (61) virtually secured the points for The Cherries with just over an hour played.

David Symington's (76) strike wasn't enough to spark a fightback with The Cumbrians losing 4-2 in the end.
