'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United youngster signed

Carlisle have brought in Man United youngster Sean McGinty.

The 19-year-old has been brought in by Greg Abbott with him, as he told the official website, more than happy to bring in the player that's thought of very highly at Old Trafford: 'Manchester United know all about us and know we look after their players when they come up here.

'I've been able to have Sean watched and he has a great physical presence with his size and with the way he plays the game.

'He's very highly thought of down there and hopefully will join us and fit into the squad at a time when we've picked up a few injuries.'

McGinty signed for United from Charlton in 2009 but will spend the next month, at least, with The Cumbrians in a move that should be beneficial to all concerned.
