Buzzing!

Brad Potts has capped, what has so far been a magically few months for him, by landing his first England call-up at U19 level.

The teenager, as he told the official website, is "buzzing" at this news.

He admits, as you would expect, that he is "nervous" but "looking forward" to his chance: 'I only found out (on Thursday) morning and I'm absolutely buzzing.

'I never expected anything like this and I'm nervous, but really looking forward to it.

'I'm going to go with the squad to Brentford and then join up with the England set-up from there, so there won't be much time to think about it.'

Finland are the England opponents next week and the 18-year-old will be hoping that he can cap this wonderful period in his early, yet very promising career, by winning his first cap.

Until the end of last season Potts was a YTS boy, signing his first contract then with him since signing a new three-year deal this season following his breakthrough into the first team squad that has seen him feature 11 times since his August debut.
