Cherries end Carlisle's Cup campaign

Carlisle 1-3 Bournemouth
FA Cup 2nd Round
1st December 2012
15:00
Brunton Park

Carlisle's FA Cup campaign isn't going to carry on into the new year as they were knocked out in the second round at Brunton Park by Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.

A number of chances passed Carlisle by before two quick goals from Wes Fogden (30) and Eunan O'Kane (36) saw Bournemouth go into the break two-goals up.

Mark Beck (72) gave the hosts hope with a little under 20-minutes to play and despite pushing for an equaliser The Cumbrians couldn't quite manage this with The Cherries securing their place in round three, and a 3-1 win, with a last minute strike from Marc Pugh (90).
