Striker leaves Carlisle

Paddy Madden's loan spell away from Carlisle has been made a permanent move, with him joining Yeovil.

In his 12-months with The Cumbrian's the striker has struggled for first-team football but in 16 games with Yeovil he managed 9-goals, which has seen them sign him up on a permanent basis.

The Glovers have signed the 22-year-old for an undisclosed amount on a 2--year contract.

Only time will tell if Carlisle have made a mistake letting Madden leave, however you have to trust Greg Abbot's judgement.
