Time To Deliver

Carlisle are in need of a win this weekend, another defeat against Notts County and they could be looking over their shoulders again with relegation fears in mind.

Greg Abbott, as he told The News & Star, knows its time to his players to deliver: 'We have to deliver. It's a tough time and people's mindsets get affected by a performance like Tuesday's. We have to scrap and dig and find that mental toughness for the awful situation where everybody thinks we're not a good team or backroom team.

'I asked the players for some answers on Tuesday night and I got enough to take us forward. The players and myself, collectively, take responsibility.

'Ultimately I need to make some big decisions on how we do things, with personnel and formations. We have done too much to let it all slip from one game.'

In this game The Cumbrians will come up against a familiar face in the shape of Francois Zoko, who left the club to eventually link up with The Magpies last summer so they'll know all too well what a threat they're coming up against.
