Defenders Carlisle Future Secured

Sean O'Hanlon future has been committed to Carlisle.

Following a highly successful spell since his arrival as a free agent in January the 30-year-old has now signed a deal for the next two-years.

Carlisle had previously said that contract talks would be on hold until the summer, however with the defenders short-term deal only running until May 11th a decision was required now, they either had to give him a months notice that he was not being retained or give him a new deal. Other player's contracts will run into June/July.

O'Hanlon has deserved his contract and no one can argue that, perhaps a two-year deal is a slight surprise as opposed to one-year with the option of the second?
