Keeper Lined Up

Carlisle have a Premier League goalkeeper in their sights, with this keeper lined up to challenge Mark Gillespie next season.

The release of Adam Collin has left a vacancy at the club with Greg Abbott, as he told The News & Star, keen to fill this with the loan signing of a topflight keeper. He said: 'There is something that has near enough been agreed with another club and another goalkeeper.

'It's a Premier League club. We will let them get their season out of the way, then we can talk and see if we can do something before the lads come back.'

Whoever this mystery keeper is they'll be wanting to come to Brunton Park to play first-team football so this can only be a good thing for the club as it will push the impressive Gillespie hard.
