Murphy Heading North

Murphy Heading North

After his release, following a long and successful career with Carlisle, Peter Murphy is closing in on finding himself a new club.

The 32-year-old is set to be snapped up by Kilmarnock, so doesn't really have far North to travel!

Kenny Shiels, Killie's manager, is confident his side can "cross the line" with the 32-year-olds arrival at Rugby Park and the signing of the defender is one that will add greater strength and experience to the clubs back line with his experience something that can be passed onto younger members of the Scottish clubs squad.
