Kinder Returns To Blackburn

Carlisle brought in Eric Kinder from Blackburn a few years back, however they've now lost him back to the club.

Kinder has helped Carlisle successfully bring through a string of players from the youth setup since his appointment as head of youth development in 2006, and as a result Blackburn has realised what they're missing and he's gone back to the Championship side.

Blackburn are Kinder's hometown club, and the club he supports, so that made the decision "an obvious one" but it was still a tough one for him to move on from Brunton Park. He'll take up an U21 and reserve coaching role at Ewood Park with immediate effect.

Kinder's departure is a blow for the club but his efforts with The Cumbrians have been well thanked, as they should be, with him wished the best for the future.
