Former Liverpool Forward Signed

Carlisle have ventured into the transfer marker to sign a former Liverpool forward.

David Amoo, who was a youngster at Anfield but only managed one Europa League outing, eventually left Liverpool after some loan spells to sign for Preston last summer. That move proved short-lived and he joined Tranmere in January on a short-term contract.

With him parting company with Carlisle's League One rivals Greg Abbott has snapped up the 22-year-old on a two-year contract, and he potentially could be a very good signing.
