'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A Number Of Trialists Arrive

As is traditional with pre-season, for Carlisle and most other clubs, a number of players are on trial.

Among those looking to impress enough to perhaps earn a deal with The Cumbrians are
Celtic keeper Robbie Thomson, who still has a year on his contract, and Non-League midfielder Jordan Deacey, who is currently with Bradford Park Avenue.

Following releases by Hull and Middlesbrough respectively midfielder Danny Emerton and former defender Paul Weldon are also being looked at.

The quartet will be hoping that they can impress Greg Abbott enough into potentially offering them deals.
