Carlisle Bring In Lewis Guy

Lewis Guy has completed a move to Carlisle.

Following his release by St Mirren in the summer, when his contract was mutually terminated, he has spent most of the summer on trial with the Cumbrians.

Greg Abbott told the official website: 'Lewis wants to be at the club because he has told us it's the happiest he has been with his football for a long time.

'We have different types of forward now and that gives us options. There's some pace and some real penetration there, so things are looking better than they were for us even just a week ago.'

With a deal agreed the 27-year-old has now penned a one-year deal with the club.

Guy has plenty of experience and has proven ability at various levels in England so potentially should be a good signing.
