'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Carlisle v Leicester

Carlisle finally got some points on the board in league one at the weekend, tonight it's back to league cup action as they look to cause another upset against Leicester.

The penalty shootout win over Blackburn in round one is so far the only win that the Cumbrians have secured this season, all bar the weekends draw have ended in heavy defeats...

O'Hanlon (groin) had to miss out for Carlisle at the weekend after he pulled up in the warm-up Thirlwell was a "makeshift" central defender then and could be again but Feely and Edwards could be turned to.

Morgan (back) looks like he'll miss out for Leicester again with St Ledger (knee) again missing for the visitors.

With just one win from the past 12 competitive meetings with Leicester the signs aren't good for Carlisle are they!

Reason for optimism though is that this is the fifth successive home game for Carlisle in the league cup and the only defeat was to Spurs last season.
