'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Three On Loan

Graham Kavanagh was a busy man on Thursday, securing some loanees and confirming a permanent arrival on a short-term deal.

Thursday's loan transfer deadline saw Kavanagh borrow players from Liverpool, Blackburn and Man United until the New Year.

These players were Craig Roddan, Josh Morris and Tom Lawrence from Liverpool, Blackburn and United respectively an they'll be with us up to and including Christmas and just into the New Year.

Kavanagh has admitted that deals for all could be extended beyond their initial month-long spell but their arrivals certainly give us another option in midfield with Roddan, at left back with Morris and up front with Lawrence.

I don't really know much about any of them but know that only Morris has first team experience having turned out in some 20 games for his parent club but all should get some good minutes on the pitch for us, otherwise why sign them?

Courtney Meppen-Walter, as expected, also signed a contract to stay with us until December 27th following his trial recently.

The boss isn't ruling in our out and extended stay at Brunton Park but knows that this time does give him a bit more to prove he's worth an extended stay.
