'If It's Football, It's Vital'

In The Hands Of Others

Max Ehmer and Tom Lawrence will, it seems, stay with Carlisle if the final week of the transfer window is productive for both clubs.

Harry Redknapp is notoriously busy when a transfer window closes, and if QPR can conduct some business the impression that Graham Kavanagh seems to give (that he seems to get) is that Ehmer will have his loan extended until the end of the season.

Lawrence is unlikely to be anywhere near the first team picture with Man United so unless they sell him to someone else the Cumbrians should be able to keep the striker until the end of the season.

Both players are keen to stay at Brunton Park.
