Two In Two Out At Brunton Park

As the transfer window draws to a close there continues to be activity at Brunton Park with two in and two out for Carlisle today.

Charni Ekangamene and Sam Byrne have become the latest players to join the Cumbrians from Man United, the duo have come in on loan until the end of the season to join follow United youngster Tom Lawrence.

19-year-old midfielder Ekangamene 18-year-old striker Byrne are yet to feature in the first-team for Man united, in fact neither of the teenagers have played a professional game yet so they'll be experiencing a new thing at Brunton.

Going the other way today though were Prince Buaben and Danny Livesey.

Graham Kavanagh brought in Buaben in October when he took a chance of the Ghanaian international following his release by Watford last summer. The midfielder signed a contract with the Cumbrians until the end of the season but will see this out with Patrick after joining the Scottish outfit on loan.

Buaben will link up with his Carlisle teammate Mark Beck, who joined Partick on loan on Thursday.

Could long-serving defender Livesey be coming towards the end of his stay at Brunton Park? Come Christmas Eve this year the 29-year-old would have been with the club for 10-years but he'll be spending the rest of the season, at least with Wrexham.
