Boss Won't Wait Forever

James Berrett has been warned that a decision on what his future plans are going to be with Carlisle need to be made sooner, rather than later.

It goes without saying that the midfielder is someone that Graham Kavanagh wants to keep at Brunton Park, and would want him as a key component of his side that he looks to bring straight back into league 1 following relegation into league 2 last season.

Kavanagh also needs to know who wants to be a part of his plans for next season as he can't hold off his recruitment plans while the likes of Berrett remain undecided on the contract offer put to him.

He wants the 25-year-old to stay at Brunton Park but has told the News & Star that he 'can't wait forever' for a decision to be made, even if he appreciates that the midfielder will understandably want to play at a higher level.

The more time that passes without Berrett committing the less likely it seems he'll stay doesn't it?
